Taylor Wily Dies at 56: Hawaii Five-O Star Dead

Due to unknown causes Taylor Wily dies at the age of 56. Taylor Wily has been well known for his roles in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I. It was declared by Hawai Five-O executive producer Peter M. Lenkov on June 20 using various social media platforms on the death of Taylor Wily who was so very close and dear to him as he treated Taylor almost like a brother a family to him. Lenkov took to Instagram to share a humble and dearly montage of the now passed away Hollywood actor.

Peter M. Lenkov takes to Instagram on Taylor Wily’s Demise

Due to the sudden passing away of the dearly actor, Lenkov took to Instagram in which he stated ” T, as I told you many times, I fell in love with you at the first audition. You came in with a towel on your head mopping sweat, and I was smitten. You charmed me into making a regular, on the show, and in my life.You were family. And I will miss you every day, brother”

He further added ” PS: when we spoke last week, we laughed at how right you were from Day 1. Five-O was our dream job. And I was so lucky we got to share that magic together.

The Sudden death of Taylor Riley has caused a heartfelt sadness through out the Hollywood industry and everyone is sending their condolence to their Taylor’s family which is being survived by his wife Halona and their two kids. Angela Keen had also posted on social media mentioning that he would be visiting Taylor’s children in Shriner Children’s Hawaii Hospital.

About Taylor Wily

Taylor Wily was a professional Sumo Wrestler, a mixed martial artist and an American actor who was born in Honululu, Hawaii on June 14. He began his sumo wrestling career in the early 1987, during which he joined the Azumazeki stable. Taylor Wily was an extra ordinary sports person as in his first 14 offical bouts he remained undefeated. During an interview in 2016 with Sherdog, when they asked him about what made him think about remaining in the field of Sumo wrestling he told the interviewer that he had won a case of Spam and some rice which allured him into the world of sumo.

It was in 1982 that he made his first appearance as an actor in Magnum, P.I (1982) over time he won small roles in various Tv shows such as Marker (1995), One West Waikiki (1996), and North Shore (2004). One of his most remembered role as a hotel attendant was in the movie ” Forgetting Sarah Marshall”.4

Co-star Dennis Chun sends condolence

Dennis Chun who was Taylor’s co-star in Hawaii Five-O reboot and played the role of sergeant Duke Lukela, wrote on Instagram ” Laura and I are heart broken to learn of the passing of Taylor Wily. He was not just a great talent but he was a giant of a man. His aloha and heart always made sharing a scene with him such a joy. It was an honor to not only work with him but also to call him friend. Rest well Taylor. Hawaii and I weep tonight. Aloha Taylor until we meet again”

Taylor Wily dies 6 days after his 56th Birthday

The fans who so dearly loved Taylor are shocked to know that he has passed away just 6 days after his 56th Birthday. The first person to announce the early demise of Taylor Wily was Lina Girl Langi during the show Island Life Live.

Angela Keen who was a former Hawaii news reporter mentioned that Taylor Wily was a very himble and gentle being who would often make visits to the Shriners Children’s Hawaii Hospital. She wrote ” You were an Epitome of a gentle giant” by adding further” I can’t believe you are gone Taylor Wily
