First up in the most haunted hotels in Arizona is Copper Queen Hotel which was built in the 1900s, during that time a lady known as Julia Lowell who used sell her for body to other men for a living, used to do the act in her favorite room 315. Unfortunately, Julia committed suicide after she was refused from the only man she ever loved. Today, her restive spirit resides within the doors of room 315 which can be often seen by male visitors who reside in that room, as a tribute room 315 was named as Julia Lowell room.
Her spirit would often whisper in their ears or dance in a seductive manner near the foot of the bed. There are a few more add-on spirits to the Copper Queen Hotel including a man who smokes cigar, a small child named Billy who drowned in San Pedro River while swimming, can seldomly be seen trying to interact and play with other children at the hotel and an ex-employee who gives a helping hand by keeping a check on the doors of the hotel.

2. Weatherford Hotel, Flagstaff
The Story of Weatherford Hotel begins with a women who allegedly hung herself in Room No. 55, as her spouse never arrived after heading out of the hotel. There are rumors whether she thought her husband was dead or it was a huge spat which resulted in the women to take her own life. Now, Room No.55 is treated as a storage closet for their hotel.
The Weatherford hotel is famous for also hosting namely Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Moran, and William Randolph Hearst. There have been stories of a screaming baby who chases away workers from the basement, sex workers killed and a lingering bell-boy delivering room service to the living guests.
It is said, Hollywood actor, John Wayne also had a glimpse of the bellboy spirit who knocks on guests doors and says “room service” in a creepy tone.

This hotel has a ghost who might be well related to the character “Dennis the Menace” after all his playfulness tells it all. Oatie, a famous ghostly resident of Oatman Hotel is often seen trying to give a small scare to the living guests by spilling water, breaking utensils and glasses, and of course his constant flickering of lights.
Oatie sadly has a heart wrecking history. He was known to be an Irish miner who drank himself to death after he heard the early demise of his spouse and child while traveling to him. Over the years, the Oatman Hotel has stopped giving out rooms to guests instead serves as a restaurant, museum, and Souvenir shop.

The history of Hassayampa Inn has a tragic chapter to its name for a honeymooning couple at the Hassayampa Inn in 1927. The wife who’s name was Faith, had climbed on top of the bell tower where she hanged herself, after her husband didn’t return after 3 days who went out to purchase a pack of cigarette.
Many guest’s who visited the Hassayampa have reported seeing Faith’s spirit lurking around through the hallways. The staff who work there have also mentioned “the spirit of Faith occasionally turns of the gas burners in the kitchen.
One time, a couple who were staying at the Inn were suddenly awaken when their television and radio both turned up to full volume. Maybe her spirit still awaits for the return of her husband through those Inn doors.

8. Triangle T Historic Ranch, Dragoon
Triangle T Historic Ranch has a history of almost 100 years to its name, with that being said it would be hard to ignore the amount of long-dead guest in their check-in books. The owner of the ranch “Linda Kelly” will often take guests round of her ranch, finally making way to the room where the belove spirit of “Grandma” lives.
Grandma spirit is known to allow guests in the room only if they are of clean spirits or if they well they ask her politely to allow them to enter the room. You can always here at footsteps in the night, when she walks on those old wooden floorings.

9. Gadsden Hotel, Douglas
A well known luxury hotel “Gadsden Hotel” makes its way into one of the most haunted hotels in Arizona. Gadsden Hotel was first established in 1907 but unfortunately a fire broke out on February 7, 1928 and over the years there have bee reported sightings of paranormal activities taking place throughout the hotel.
Especially, Room 333, while some believe the number 333 also belongs to evil entity, this room is known to have the most scares within the hotel. Often guests have seen the chair rock itself without any interference, strange eerie sounds during midnight and the simultaneous flickering of lights.
Some have even noticed apparitions of a man in cowboy hat and duster that takes his stroll within the hotel every now and then.

10. Hotel Vendome, Prescott
Are you a cat lover? Be ready to meet the cat ghost of Hotel Vendome in Room 16. As the story goes, the initial owners ran through some tough financial situation causing them to sell their beloved hotel to new owners. Upon which the new owners agreed to let the previous owners stay in Room 16 along with their cat.
Subsequently, the husband left the wife and cat in 1920s to starve to death within the hotel. Guests have reported sightings of the lady and her cat taking a walk on various occasions within the hotel. Some say they are still waiting on the man who abandoned them to get back their revenge on him. Well , if not puss in boots , let’s just go with a feline spirit.

11. El Tovar Hotel, Grand Canyon Village
El Tovar Hotel which was established in the 1905, became famous in a short duration due to its magnificent location with 78 rooms. This hotel has its piece of status in the historical side which paves a path for its ghost sightings.
Guests who have stayed in El Tovar Hotel have mentioned seeing the strangely figure of Mr. Fred Harvey owner of El Tovar Hotel and Fred Harvey Company. During one of the incidents a tourist named Mark Griffith mentioned that his wife felt a strange presence that was pulling her clothing during the middle of the night.

Bisbee Grand Hotel was established in 1906. Behind the artistic vibes and a quirky ambiance of the hotel, it is also known to be haunted by a lady who is known to roam around the hotel in a Victorian Era gown. Guests have reported seeing it in room no. 2 and 3.

13. The Hotel Congress, Tucson
The hotel congress was built in 1919, a boutique hotel and a cultural landmark for Tucson. This hotel has been a home to many ghastly ghosts and has experienced many paranormal activities since the beginning of 1919 when the hotel first opened its doors to its guests making it slip into one of the most haunted hotels in Arizona.
There are four rooms which are known to haunted in this hotel, room 242, room 220,room 214, and room 212 each having an eerie dark story behind it. Room 242 being the most creepy one is held by the women in the white dress who took her own life who was very troubled.

14. Hotel San Carlos, Phoenix
Hotel San Carlos another on our list of haunted hotels in Arizona that is located in Phoenix. A lady named Leone Jensen haunts this hotel, who leaped off from the terrace of the hotel on May 27, 1928 after its initial establishment. Guests who have visited the hotel have reported seeing her jump from the roof every night.
Her spirit is also responsible for wailing cries and spine tingling screams in the night which can be heard by many guests who tend to hide in their blanket out of fear.
Many rumor has it, her suicidal death was a result of her breakup with the bellboy who used to work in the hotel. Maybe, she is still waiting for her bellboy boyfriend to accept her again.

The spirits that haunt the hotel is a lady in red and a male spirit, Many guests have reported seeing them on the second floor of the Connor hotel. There has been reports of strange whispers, sudden cold temperatures, items moving around and sudden flickering of lights on their own.
